Until recently, bandwidth was a problem on the site so we couldn't really offer much in the way of file hosting/sharing. When we perform a full site upgrade to the next version of phpBB we'll probably install an attachment MOD for easier sharing of files.

Until then however, if you're a private member and want to host a few files or share something with other members, and pass out an easy HTTP link we can accommodate you. Obviously this is open to abuse, so we'll take down anything that's too large, copyright or proprietary, backups of your PC's HDD etc. etc.

If you're comfortable with FTP and can upload your files using an FTP program such as WFTP32, ask one of the mod's for the site's 'downloads' account name and password. Files are uploaded to http://www.thechaosengine.com/downloads/ and assuming we don't run of disk space will stay there indefinitely.
