How good is John Riccitiello

This is something I often wonder about. He talks the talk and has taken EA in some good directions. But they are making massive losses when the industry is booming. Several key franchises have come off the boil. And they seem to lack conviction in building the brands of new IP. Also EA are not famous for having the most efficient management. Any thoughts?
