The Chaos Engine

Chaos In The Games Industry

We havent forgotten you...

Unfortunately its more I than we. Its pretty much entirely down to me, and trust me it can take time to process requests. Lots of it.

Unfortunately I am not paid to do this job, nor do I really have loads of time spare for it, but I do my best, and recently both my work life and home life have beggered belief (by recently I mean the last year or so :deadcrab:)

I am hoping to make some time this weekend to process some, and then take it from there, a little at a time.

In the meantime, if you know someone who is a member, you can speed up the process by getting them to vouch for you - get them to drop me a PM, and that will effectively queue jump you (of course if I get thousands of vouches, then I'm similarly stuck, but they are faster to process). Otherwise, hang in there, I will get to you, it just takes time.

Thankyou for your patience.
Get yourself on over the Irrelevant Corner and make YOUR vote count! Yeeeeeeeeeeehaw!

TCE Admin Peeps
To all our stateside chums, Happy Turkey Day from TCE!

To any the above working on this day... Commiserations. :deadcrab:
Just a quick note to say we apologise for the slight unscheduled downtime over the last two days. Needless to say I have had a stressful couple of days :)

In related news we are kicking off our yearly fundraiser for the TCE hosting costs, so please give generously.

Re applications, yes, we have fallen behind yet again - I promise we will be attending to them forthwith, I shall whip the slaves myself...
We're behind again.
I am trying to rally the troops, but communication is sparse.

Please bear with us...

Hey everybody!

A huge amount of work has been done now on the applications. Photon and myself have blasted through them. We've added some people, asked some for more info and berated anyone who mailed us without going to the trouble of even setting up an account for us to upgrade.

So a big pat on the back for me and the Photon (mostly Photon, I was more of a hindrance than anything else). And a huge apology for those of you that have been waiting since April... a slightly less huge apology for those of you that have been waiting since May... a even smaller apology for those of you that have been waiting since June. And so on and so forth.

Da Management!

Well ok, it looks as if we ("The Management") have been a little incommunicative of late.

We can but apologise, and put forward here the steps that we intend to take to move forward in this matter, and transition to the next synergy.

1. Applications.

Yes, this one has been a bit stalled for a while now - combination of people being rather overly busy with new tech being introduced. Bottom line, they weren't getting done! You will be pleased to know they are slowly getting done now (I'm doing them myself for the minute, and hopefully other people will be on the case too before very long). In other words, hang on in there, we will be with you shortly.

2. Email / Contact Us form.

Well this one is my fault personally - I have realised that webmail is not the best way of checking mails, as it kinda relies on your doing so...

So, I have set up a different way of doing this, and now you should have my undivided attention fairly quickly via email. I will be encouraging the other reprobates to do likewise soon enough so you can get hold of them too by the same method. Remember though to use Gatekeeper for applications, not webmaster, nor Photon.

I have pretty much answered most emails outstanding on that medium I think, so if you still have a problem, and havent had an answer by tonight, feel free to resend, I will only mock you if I have already answered.

So, in short, we hope to be more communicative in the future. It unfortunately the nature of our industry that periods of cranial rectal inversion tend to happen. We will however attempt to take them in shifts from now on (honest).
